Holes by Louis Sachar

Holes by Louis Sachar is an awesome book!!! If anyone is looking for something good to read before the summer ends, you should give this book a try. I am a slow reader, but I read this book in like two days. It's an atypical story about a kid that gets in trouble for a crime that he didn't mean to commit. Then, he's sent to this bizarre camp where they dig holes to build character. It's really interesting to see who this self-conscious, bullied boy becomes, and what happens between him and the juevenile delinquent boys at the camp. I haven't seen the movie yet, but I would love to see how well it portrays the movie. I've heard it does a pretty good job of doing so. I'd also love to see who plays the cold-hearted Warden. Please let me know what you guys think about the book and/or the movie. Thanks!
