Ark Angel: An Alex Rider Adventure by Anthony Horowitz

Ark Angel
In Ark Angel: An Alex Rider Adventure by Anthony Horowitz, Alex is giving it up. Being a teenage secret agent is just too dangerous. He wants his old life back. As he lies in the hospital bed recovering from a gunshot wound, he contemplates the end of his career with MI6, the British secret service. But then he saves the life of Paul Drevin, son of multibillionaire Nikolei Drevin, and once again he is pulled into service. This time his mission involves eco-terrorists, rockets to space, maniacal killers, and a dangerous tropical island. Is it all in a day's work, or will this truly be Alex Rider's last mission? The action-filled plot develops quickly and keeps readers on the edge of their seats. Ark Angel, is the sixth book telling the story of Alex Rider. You don't have to have read the other books to enjoy this one.
By the way, watch for Stormbreaker, a movie about the first book in this series that is to be released in the theaters later this year.

I just finished Ark Angel. It was GREAT!
What I like about the Alex Rider books, is just when it looks like Alex has saved the world (once again!) and all is well, some little loose end unravels and we know that it's not over yet.
I also like the gadgets. This time, the CIA had a few of their own-- not as good as Mr. Smithers', of course.
Have you seen the book, Alex Rider, the gadgets ?
