Her brother jumps in to save her from the terror she is facing, pulls her from the water, saving her life. Nothing from this point on is ever going to be the same for any of them.

In the hospital, Jane has to come to grips with loosing her arm, what she will be able to do and where her life is going to go now. The biggest question she asks herself over and over is "WHY". She had planned to be an artist but....

This book is rated for Young Adults and is a Rebecca Caudill Nominee 2010. It gives insight how to cope with loss, change, and reinventing one's self.
