When the best selling author, Ignatius B. Grumply, decides to write a new book he looks for a mansion to rent for the summer. He hopes that he will enjoy peace and quiet as he tries to unblock his writers block to begin and finish his newest book. Solitude should give him just the inspiration he needs...but wait upon taking residence, he discovers that the house is occupied by an elven year old boy and haunted by a very old ghost.
Mr. Grumply is outraged, and has no intention of sharing...Seymour and his cat are violently opposed to Mr. Grumply...while Violet (the ghost)lives in the cupola, steals library books, and is friends with Seymour. In no time at all the letters are formally flying from floor to floor with all three joining the fray.
Will they get along? Can they convince Mr. Grumply, that Violet is real? Will they help with the book or will Mr. Grumply get up and go? To LOL while trying to keep up with this crazy trio...read the book. I am looking forward to more of this series.
