Scarlett by CathyCassidy

ScarlettTwelve year old Scarlett hates school. She's always in trouble and her mother has had enough. She sends Scarlett to live with her dad in Ireland. Scarlett doesn't want to go to Ireland, as she doesn't want to see her dad or his new family. She promises her mom that if she allows her to stay, she will behave. Having already tried many schools and having been kicked out of each and every one Mom is not going to have any of that.
When Scarlett arrives in Ireland, she finds out that her dad and his new wife are going to have a baby. It's bad enough that she already has a stepsister and now a new baby? Surely her father
doesn't love her anymore.
Problems keep coming up for poor Scarlett. She is told that she will be going to school in a one room schoolhouse. What else can happen to her?
When Scarlett runs away from school and runs into the forest, she meets a boy who changes how she thinks about family and life in general. Who is this boy and where does he live?
This is a great story about family, and learning that things don't always go the way you want them to go. Families can change, but it doesn't mean love has to change.
