Justin Case: School, Drool and Other Daily Disasters by Rachel Vail

Justin Case: School, Drool and Other Daily Disasters
Justin Krzeszewski is his real name. Justin Case is his nickname. It's a creative nickname for:
just in case someone finds out that this third grader still loves his stuffed animals
just in case you worry too much
just in case you need to be more brave

Justin represents the often neglected group of introverted, observant and sensitive children. His family celebrates both Jewish and Christian holidays. He has one sister and he is really impressed with her bravery. This realistic fiction is all about feelings that children experience going through school and family life. This book reminds me of Diary of a Wimpy Kid. This series does a better job in showing positive outcomes and what you can clarify and find out through communication.
This was the first book in the series.
2 - Shells, Smells and the Horrible Flip-flops of Doom
3 - Rules, Tools  and Maybe a Bully
