Ten Ways To Make My Sister Disappear by Norma Fox Mazer

Ten Ways to Make My Sister Disappear
Meet Grace, aka "Sprig", a typical ten year old who loves the number ten and really dislikes boys.   She and her twelve year old sister, Dakota, are totally different.  She cries just thinking about sad things.  Only Bliss, her best friend, keeps her happy by making a list of ten ways that Dakota could disappear.

Lately, she has had a lot to deal with.  Her dad, a well known architect, has been hired to build schools for children in Afghanistan.  She worries about his safety in a war torn country.  She really misses his hugs.

Dakota, her sister does not cry about a thing.  Dakota's life is all about boys, her best friend, Krystee, and doing whatever Sprig wants to do first.   Sisters! They are the worst.  Will Sprig and Dakota ever get along?

If you have another way to make your brother or sister disappear, we will talk about this title in the Books N' Popcorn program on Monday, April 24 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm.  Please bring your ideas and your appetite.   Registration begins on Monday, April 10.
